Judy I. Schaffer
– Founder – Founded Heroes to Heroes in March 2010 and currently serves as President. Judy also works as Northeast
Regional Manager at Regional Reps, a firm representing over 1000 small and medium market radio stations throughout the country.
In this position Judy works with advertising agencies throughout the northeast to help their clients reach customers in difficult
to reach areas throughout the United States. Judy also has experience on Wall Street as a Financial Advisor and in online
Nicholas Deliso – Nicholas Deliso is a 25 year veteran of the financial services
industry, Director and Senior Relationship Manager in the Wealth Management Services Group of The Depository Trust and Clearing
Corporation, responsible for handling relationships for and presenting new opportunities to their largest mutual fund companies,
and provides support to customers of DTCC's Model Management Exchange and Alternative Investment Product service. He
sits on various industry committees, as well as DTCC’s Senior Advisory Board for Funds and Firms. Prior to joining DTCC,
Nick was a Vice President in the Bank of New York’s affiliate, BNY ConvergEX. Prior to that he was a
Vice President in the Bank of New York's Mutual Funds Divison, working as a Relationaship Manager. Nick is a graduate of Wagner
College, where he received a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration and a master’s degree
in Management, Marketing and Finance.
Nicholas Auletta - Nicholas M. Auletta currently serves
as a Vice President at Summit Security Services, Inc. Summit is one of the largest privately-owned security and investigative
companies in the United States with over 360 clients and over 2,700 employees. Nick has more than 10 years of military
and security management experience; including forty four months of deployed time to the Iraq combat zone. Nick previously
served as an Active Duty U.S. Army Infantry Officer and earned Airborne, Ranger, Combat Infantryman and EMT qualifications.
From May 2004 to March 2005, Nick deployed to Iraq in support of OIF II, where he served the entire time as an Infantry Platoon
Leader within the Sadr City neighborhood of Baghdad in the midst of a heated and violent Shia insurgency in that area.
In October 2006, Nick returned to Iraq for a fifteen month deployment as a part of a significant troop build-up and was responsible
for engineering his 933-man battalion’s expansion into multiple combat outposts. In May 2008, Nick transitioned
from active duty to the National Guard and volunteered for a position within the Department of the Army as an Operations Manager.
Nick was again redeployed to Baghdad, Iraq within his Department of the Army position from June 2008 through October 2009.
Alecia Hirsch - Educator, Organizer, Administrator. Ms. Hirsch is an educator and administrator with
significant not-for- profit experience. She wears many hats in the nonprofit world including administrative duties at March
of the Living, fundraising, event chairperson and volleyball coach for Bat Torah Academy in Paramus, NJ, and a past board
member, dinner chairperson, and sisterhood president of Congregation Beth Aaron in Teaneck, NJ.
Nolan - PAC Chairman of Teamsters Joint Councit No. 73, US Army Veteran. As PAC Chairman, Mr. Nolan is responsible
for influencing legislation affecting the Teamsters in New Jersey. In this role, he has raised significant funds for the Wounded
Warriors Project, Australia House - an organization that helps terminally ill children by providing them with their dream
experiences, the Food Bank of New Jersey, and many other organizations that provide aid to our most vulnerable citizens.
Haim Zitman - CEO and Co-Founder Metro Sleep. For the past 21 years, Mr.Zitman has specialized in
workout situations. In this capacity, his duties have included directing companies through the Chapter 11 filing process,
conducting negotiations with banking and financial institutions, streamlining operations, installing new management procedures,
reviewing marketing activities, closing unprofitable operations, directing the restructuring process (including drafting the
reorganization plan) and conducting negotiations with the secured and unsecured creditor and shareholders in public companies.
Haim was a Sergeant in the Israeli Defense Forces
Ramona Goodman-Partner, Novick, Edelstein, Lubell,
Reisman, Wasserman, Leventhal, P.C.Benjamin Cardozo School of Law, J.D. 1984; admitted to New York State Bar, and to the United
States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Ms Goodman is also admitted to practice before the
U.S. Supreme Court of the United States. Ms. Goodman's areas of specialty are Bankruptcy, proceedings before the New York
State Division of Housing and Community Renewal, and Landlord-Tenant Litigation. Ms. Goodman is a Small Claims Arbitrator
in the City of New York and a member of the American Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association. Ms. Goodman is
also a member of the Bronx County Bar Asociation and the Bronx Women's Bar Association.
Paula Vitakis - Paula Vitakis is an award-winning
journalist and communications professional with more than 25 years of experience in the corporate world as well as local,
state and federal government. In her role with the U.S. Army’s Public Affairs Office, she brought much-needed attention
to the changing needs of family members during the Gulf War and other U.S. missions abroad, as well as to the role of technology
in today’s military. Prior to working as an independent consultant, Ms. Vitakis was a contractor with the State
of New Jersey, coordinating public relations, outreach and marketing for the New Jersey Knowledge Initiative. Her advocacy
efforts helped gain more than $10 million for libraries in New Jersey, as well as increased the role of the State Library.
She was a member of the Governor’s Action Council for the Economy to enhance small business growth in the state. Ms.
Vitakis is an effective outreach and workshop speaker, addressing a variety of topics including the importance of advocacy
for nonprofits, communications strategies for small business and using technology for advocacy.
